First Congregational UCC-Great Falls and Christ United Methodist Church are officially federated and have adopted bylaws for our newly federated church!

By the vote of the First Congregational UCC-Great Falls congregation held at a congregational meeting on March 1, the motion to officially federate with Christ United Methodist Church passed. A following motion to adopt the bylaws developed by the Exploration Committee was also passed.

At a Charge Conference (meeting of the congregation) held on February 5 by Christ United Methodist Church, that congregation voted to federate and adopt the bylaws.

Next in the process is selecting a name for our newly federated church. A committee of members of both congregations are working on a process to accomplish this important task.

The Articles of Confederation with the State of Montana is also in the process of being filed.
