Dear Congregation,

After careful deliberation, the Naming Committee is pleased to present the following names for your consideration for the new church name:

–     Disciples Quest Church

–     First Congregational United Church of Christ – Christ United Methodist Church

–     Harmony Church

–     River of Grace Community Church

–     United Spirit Community Church

We look forward to the special meeting of the congregation on May 31, where members will vote to select the new church name. Voting will be conducted by ranked-choice ballot, allowing each member to rank the names from most preferred to least preferred.  Thank you to everyone who submitted a name and to all who attended last Sunday’s meeting to share input with the committee on the names that have moved forward in the process.  Please know you were heard, whether in person or via email. The committee encourages everyone to attend the congregational meeting, either in person or via Zoom, and to vote so your voice can be heard. The meeting is expected to begin following worship on May 31 at 11:15 A.M.  Additional information about the meeting and voting process will be shared in the coming week.
