Our Mission
We are a community of faith centered in Christ and committed to serving God. We welcome all who seek spiritual nourishment and growth through worship, fellowship, and service.
What We Believe
• God is revealed in Jesus Christ, and is ever present in the Holy spirit
• There is yet more light and truth to break forth from God’s Holy Word
• Freedom of interpretation is the right of every individual
• Life is a gift and the church offers us a means to celebrate life and share the gift
• Each local church is governed by its own membership
• Every person is a child of God and deserves to be treated as a child of God.
• We are co-creators with God, called to be good stewards of the earth.
Open and Affirming
Open and Affirming (ONA) is the United Church of Christ’s designation for congregations, campus ministries, and other bodies in the UCC which make a public covenant of welcome into their full life and ministry to persons of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.
We rejoice to be an Open and Affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ. This means that we are deliberate and intentional in being open to all and affirm everyone just as they are.
OUR WELCOMING STATEMENT
