Director of Music MinistryCindy Stevens relocated to Great Falls, Montana from Houston, Texas in the spring of 2013. She has earned degrees from Maryville College, the University of Tennessee and the University of Montana-Missoula.
Cindy has been in school her entire life – as a student and now as an instructor at Great Falls College MSU. She has taken students on choir tours around the United States and in Europe. In May of 2011, she had a successful conducting debut in Carnegie Hall. A return visit to Carnegie Hall was made in 2016 with a group of 80 singers from Great Falls College presenting music by Montana composers.
In addition to her school responsibilities, Cindy is happy to serve as the Assistant Choir Director for the Great Falls Symphony.
Cindy joined the staff of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in the fall of 2018 where she directs the Chancel Choir.
Cindy lives in Great Falls with her husband, Darryl and their two dogs, Mamie and Ike. She enjoys visiting with her stepson, Nathan, as often as possible!
