We will observe ALL SAINTS SUNDAY with special recognition during our 9:30 A.M. worship service on November 3rd. If you experienced the loss of a loved one this past year and would like them acknowledged in the bulletin, please let Holly know by October 30th.
MITTEN MAKERS Ladies from FCUCC-GF and CUMC have joined forces to make mittens for the homeless this winter. Join us for Mitten Making. We have the wool and fleece but bring your cutting tools, sewing machine etc. Call Syneva Heupel at 453-7200 for days and times.
Children will begin in worship, have a children’s message with Rev. Lynne, then go to Sunday school for the final week of their rotation on “Creation”. On October 27th, classes will start a three-week rotation on “Adam & Eve”.
The Sunday School Thanksgiving Basket project continues this week with children being asked to bring dessert mixes-cake, gingerbread, pudding, brownies, etc. See the GOOD NEWS button or the NEWS page for more information.
Our next week to host Family Promise is October 27th– November 2nd. There are still some open opportunities to help. The sign up board is in the narthex for those willing to help.
Trunk or Treat is almost here! October 26, 3-4:30 PM. The Christian Ed Board invites adults to bring a decorated car to the church parking lot to provide a safe, day-time trick-or-treating opportunity for kids. See the NEWS page or the GOOD NEWS button for details.
The B-UCC Club is reading The One and Only Ivan by KA Applegate. All are invited for discussion and conversation on Monday, October 28th, 6:30 P.M., in the church parlor.
Reading at West Elementary begins on Tuesday, October 22nd. Volunteers will read to students from 2:45 P.M. – 3:15 P.M. If you are interested, please contact Mary Fry.

Our fall Bible study, The Gospel According to John, began last week. Classes are on Wednesday at noon or Thursday at 5:30. It’s not too late to join us!
